On the maternal side Dax AK is bred from Terranova van 't Laerenhof, a rideable and sensible mare with an excellent temperament. Her sire Quanto Curo vh Bloemenhof was shown internationally in the dressage sport and carries the blood of, among others, Quaterback, Quotenkönig and Donnerhall.
