For sale: willing-to-work 17 year old (2009) KWPN mare – for the somewhat more experienced rider, as a pasture companion or as a recipient mare. For our mare Ella (Elegance) we are looking for a loving and suitable new home. Ella is a KWPN mare with a willing-to-work character and forwardness. Ella is dressage-bred (Jazz x Zeoliet) and has good gaits. Under saddle Ella is forward and responsive to the aids. She needs a rider who gives her confidence and reassurance and rides her in a calm way and with feeling and works with her, she likes to work for you. If she is well settled she can also be ridden by a slightly less experienced rider. For purely recreational riding she is less suitable; we see her best suited to an ambitious rider who wants to work with her and further develop her, because she certainly has that potential. She knows the exercises up to approximately M level but has never been officially competed. In addition she shows that she really enjoys jumping and takes to it well. Variety in the work suits her. Ella is a sensitive mare and can sometimes find a changing environment a little bit stressful. With a calm, clear rider who can give her confidence she takes this on well. Ella is missing one eye (left), but this does not hinder her in daily work. She copes well with it, both under saddle and in handling. She is currently being ridden as normal. She is well-behaved with the farrier and dentist, and neatly vaccinated and wormed. Well-behaved on the trailer. She is sociable towards other horses. In addition Ella could also be very suitable as a recipient or broodmare or as a pleasant pasture companion. She has in the past had multiple foals with previous owners.
