My little rascal deserves a place where he gets full attention again. Meet Sky, a 14-year-old cross A pony. He is 1.15 m tall. He will only go to a forever home, with the perfect match. He has already conquered a place in my heart. Now that my young horse has been broken in, I simply have too little time to also regularly go out with him with the sulky. Sky is an affectionate pony, who likes to be with you. When he came to me he had very severe separation anxiety. Fortunately with a lot of patience, he no longer suffers from that. Of course he neighs when he is alone, but the fences now stay whole XD . He is a real eye-catcher. A beautiful black pinto gelding with long mane and a half-moon eye, left. He loves to eat so he regularly has a belly, haha. What he likes most? Mainly snuggling. Groundwork and for the sulky. Although mister has an instruction manual. He has not always had it very good in his life, so there are sometimes days that he stands still and does not take another step or bucks. The other days he then walks really well for the sulky. Preferably he goes out with other horses, he can be a bit insecure alone. If someone walks in front it's fine and if he has his day, he can also sometimes go out alone. When Sky came to me he was extremely head shy and afraid of whips, you don't notice that anymore now. He could not tolerate a bit, so I went bitless with him. I also never tried again to work with a bit. Without also works fine. Maybe that is possible again by now, but for me it was not necessary. He is not easily scared. Big agricultural vehicles, fast passing cars etc. are no problem, but if he does not feel well he can use anything to be scared if it suits him. He is also trained, but under saddle he is capricious. He prefers to go in front of the sulky or groundwork. Free jumping he loves completely. Sitting on him in the meadow, just for the company. He likes that too, then he is used to small children on him. He is less fond of enthusiastic riding. NOT SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS! Only for a certain rider, who dares to tackle him in a loving but clear way. Sky has been with me since 2015. I have seen him grow from an anxious and insecure young pony, to a pony that enjoys life. Who feels good and likes to be the macho of the herd. He is not just a pony, he is unique. Sometimes you could stick him behind the wallpaper and sometimes you can laugh very hard at him. Sky is looking for an owner who can handle that no day is the same with him. Who can give him a warm home, with a herd where he can find his place. He needs other horses around him, with which he may go out. When he notices that we are going to the woods, he starts to go faster. He visibly enjoys that. I wish him such a forever home where he gets more attention than what I give him at the moment. He is really a sweetheart. It is not fair for him to always be last choice. But well he is happy here and also amuses himself perfectly in the pasture and the rounds with the sulky, so he does not necessarily have to go. He is now always outside, he thrives best there. Of course with a shelter option and a herd that also wants to play outside with him. Because he also likes to play. Will you smile when you read this?
