For sale: willing-to-work 17-year-old (2009) KWPN mare – for the somewhat more experienced rider, as a pasture mate or as a surrogate mare. For our mare Ella (Elegance) we are looking for a loving and suitable new home. Ella is a KWPN mare with a willing-to-work character and forward drive. Ella is bred for dressage (Jazz x Zeoliet) and has good gaits. Under saddle Ella is forward and responds well to the aids. She needs a rider who gives her confidence and reassurance and who rides her in a calm manner and with feel and works with her, she likes to work for you. If she is well settled she can also be ridden by a slightly less experienced rider. For purely recreational riding she is less suitable; we see her best come into her own with an ambitious rider who wants to work with her and further develop her, because she certainly has that potential. She knows the exercises up to approx. M level but has never been officially competed. In addition, she shows that she really likes jumping and picks it up well. Variety in the work suits her. Ella is a sensitive mare and can sometimes find a changing environment a bit scary. With a calm, clear rider who can give her confidence she handles this well. Ella is missing one eye (left), but this does not hinder her in daily work. She functions well with it, both under saddle and in handling. She is currently being ridden as usual. She is well-behaved with the farrier and dentist, and properly vaccinated and dewormed. Good on the trailer. She is social with other horses. Additionally Ella could also be very suitable as a surrogate or broodmare or as a nice pasture mate. She has in the past had multiple foals with previous owners.
