Her background from the well-known Kantje's stud, willing attitude and natural ability over fences make her an interesting prospect for a rider who wants to take their sport seriously. She also has a competition record at M1 dressage level, although her recent work has focused on showjumping. Loraya has already built up a solid record in the showjumping arena. With her previous rider, she competed successfully at 1.10m level. More recently, she demonstrated her ability with an excellent second place in the D100 class at the LRV Pony Tournament in Herselt. She is currently competing at D100 level. One of Loraya's strengths is her attitude around a course. She is not overly keen or rushed, and she is helpful when approaching a fence. She responds well to a rider who keeps riding positively and maintains a good connection towards the jump. She has enough energy and enthusiasm for the sport while remaining pleasant to ride. Loraya is best suited to a rider who already has some experience jumping courses and is confident enough to ride actively rather than simply sit and wait. For example, she could be an interesting next step for a child who has gained competition experience on a smaller pony and is ready to progress. She would be less suitable for a complete beginner or a very passive rider. During our video days, Loraya also gave us a very positive impression under saddle. She was in season at the time but remained cooperative and willing throughout. In everyday handling, she is a kind and reliable mare. She is easy to hack both alone and in company, behaves well for the farrier, vet and clipping, and gets along nicely with other horses and ponies. In short, Kantje's Loraya is a quality sport pony with proven results up to 1.10m, a positive attitude and exciting potential for the future. A lovely opportunity for an ambitious young rider who enjoys riding positively and wants to continue progressing in the sport!
