# VIDI VINO FMC ### A pedigree full of showjumping legends. A mare with a future. **For sale | KWPN showjumping-bred yearling mare | April 2025** **Irish Coffee PR (1.50 m) × Quantum × Corland** Some young horses have an interesting pedigree. Others bring together generations of internationally proven showjumping blood. **Vidi Vino FMC belongs to that latter category.** Hereby I offer my promising KWPN mare. A young lady with an exceptionally interesting combination of French, Belgian and Holsteiner jumping genes, originating from families in which both international sport results and breeding quality can be found. Her pedigree brings together greats such as **Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, Diamant de Semilly, Le Tot de Semilly, Carthago, Capitol I, Indoctro, Quidam de Revel, Jalisco B, Corland, Cor de la Bryère, Purioso and Furioso II**. But what makes this mare particularly interesting is that her ancestry does not consist solely of famous stallion names. Proven sporting performances and valuable breeding predicates are also hidden behind the mares in her pedigree. ### The sire line – Emerald, Diamant de Semilly and Carthago Her sire **Irish Coffee PR (1.50 m)**, a son of Emerald van ’t Ruytershof out of Romalithya (Indoctro), has himself proven his qualities in showjumping. Irish Coffee PR was campaigned at international level by, among others, Glenn Knoester and Frank Schuttert. His sire **Emerald van ’t Ruytershof (1.60 m)** is one of the most renowned showjumping stallions of his generation. Emerald combined performances at the highest international level with an impressive career as a sire. Through Emerald flows the blood of: **Diamant de Semilly (1.60 m)** – An absolute heavyweight within modern showjumping breeding. Valued worldwide for his influence on international showjumping and his successful offspring. **Le Tot de Semilly (1.60 m)** – One of the foundations of French showjumping breeding and the sire of Diamant de Semilly. **Carthago (1.60 m)** – A legendary Holsteiner stallion, known for his international sport career and his enormous influence on showjumping breeding. **Capitol I** – One of the most important Holsteiner founding sires, whose blood is found in countless international showjumpers. Also via Emerald’s dam **Carthina Z (Carthago × Lys de Darmen)** valuable jumping blood comes together. Carthina Z herself competed at 1.45 m level and became an especially influential broodmare. ### The dam line of Irish Coffee PR – More than just famous names The dam of Irish Coffee PR is **Romalithya (Indoctro × Purioso)**. Romalithya carries the predicates **preferent, performance and PROK**. This combination is interesting because it not only says something about her breeding status, but also about the performances of her offspring. Within her direct offspring we find, among others: - **Irish Coffee PR (Emerald)** – 1.50 m jumping - **Hatzidee PR (Spartacus TN)** – 1.50 m jumping - **Jayalithya PR (Vigo d’Arsouilles)** – 1.45 m jumping Through Romalithya we come to **Indoctro**, a son of Capitol I and one of the best-known showjumping sires within the KWPN. Further back in this line we find **Purioso**, an influential stallion who through his sire **Furioso II** goes back to one of the great foundations of European sport horse breeding. Also **Caletto II** is present in the ancestry of Irish Coffee PR via Vanessa VII. The special thing about this sire line is the combination of French jumping genes, Holsteiner scope and a maternal family that itself has produced multiple horses at a high level. ### The dam line – Quidam de Revel, Corland and a proven mare family On the dam side we also find an impressive collection of jumping genes. Her dam **Caroline S-B / Karma FMC (PROK)** is bred from **Quantum × Corland**. **Quantum**, a son of Quidam de Revel out of Ulla V, represen
