Very good, loving and permanent home sought for my dear Furioso (Hungarian Half-blood) mare with pedigree 21 years old for recreational riding and possibly breeding a foal would also not be a problem. We live in Hungary but I do not want to sell her in this country!!! Make an offer and explain what you have to offer her! Due to my health problems I offer with much pain and sorrow my dear, beautiful mare for a good and permanent home. She has just turned 21 and is a healthy horse with lots of energy without defects. She was born and raised in Hungary, where she has lived with us for 11 years. She has lots of space, an open stall and always access to the pasture (24 hours a day). She needs an experienced rider, because she is very intelligent and immediately senses whether someone can ride or not, and she takes advantage of that. She also needs a kind person with a gentle but consistent approach! And the new owner must not be too heavy, which I also find very important! She does not like riding in the pasture or the riding arena she is a real recreation horse and she is super active a true warmblood. She has a beautiful strong, straight back and stands firmly on her legs. She also has a beautiful gait. She is approximately 167 cm tall and has a very sweet character. She does not bite or kick, does not bolt and does not buck, but she does have temperament. I bought her 11 years ago and just over a year ago I finally took the step to look for a new home for her given that I have been living on medication for over 15 years I have not become more stable in all those years and I have an anchoring in my shoulder which has left me without strength. I find it terribly difficult and do not trust someone easily therefore I keep postponing it. Before I bought her, she had already had four Hungarian owners including gypsies. I know that her owners were not all equally kind to her. Seven years ago she had a beautiful sweet foal. The father of the foal was a gorgeous jet-black Furioso North Star stallion. It was her first foal and she was a fantastic mother and very protective. But when he was nine months old he died after eating a poisonous leaf from a tree. I was devastated and never had her covered again. She has always been well cared for, on time to the farrier, every three years a mandatory blood test, vaccinated annually and dewormed regularly. Last year she underwent a very thorough blood test, in which no abnormalities were found. She gets feed twice a day: Corn mixed with oats and two scoops of vitamin/mineral pellets. She also gets a mix of apple and carrot, which she loves and we always mix this with a little water. She goes away with all accessories: saddle, bridle, blankets, feed, too many to mention... Only people who can give her the love and attention may respond and make an offer and we will first come to see where she will end up. A good home is very important and I would like to see her occasionally and keep in contact. I suspect that she will reach a considerable age because a Furioso is a breed that is very strong and remains active for a long time. But if she becomes old or ill, she must NOT be slaughtered, but must be euthanized in her familiar environment, that is also a requirement! We live in the Tolna region in Hungary.
